My 2011 335i xDrive M Sport 6MT just got dropped off today! It was pretty damn dirty from its ride on an open car carrier (this flatbed was only for the last leg of the trip from Chicago to Madison) so I ran it thru the wash even though it’s raining today. Time to get cracking on wasting money on mods!

Overall it’s really good shape. There was some dirt and crud on the white leather that mostly cleaned right up with some Meguiar’s leather wipes. I’m not sure if that was from the previous owner or the transport company.

The previous owner sent me service records including a few detail jobs done at his BMW dealer. I’m sure it’s nice under all that crud. I just did a quick gas station wash to get the crud off and this weekend I’ll do a hand wash if the weather’s nice.

My excuse is I’m using the stock 18s for winter, running summer tires on 19s, and that xDrive front wheel gap is unacceptable with 19s. At least that’s how I’m justifying it to myself.

Have you taken a look at the Juice Box from Burger Tuning? Or the Cobb Access Port? Both are awesome products. But if I had to do it all over again I’d have gone with a Cobb Access Port and then had a local Cobb Pro-Tuner tune it with a map specific to my mods.

The Juice Box is a great product and I was really happy with it, but I have a local legitimate tuner that is authorized by Cobb to Pro-Tune.

Yeah I’m pretty familiar with the different tunes out there. My focus to start with is handling. I’ve ordered 19" wheels & tires and I’m finishing up planning out my suspension. I’ve gone around in circles a few times on what exactly I want for that.
